Religion and the Election

WQED Pittsburgh and University of Pittsburgh Intercultural Dialogue
Group (IDG) present Ray Suarez, Senior Correspondent for the Newshour
with Jim Lehrer, with a presentation "Religion and the Election"

The NewsHour with Jim Lehrer will broadcast live to a national audience
from the WQED studios on April 21 and 22 to cover the Pennsylvania
Primary. Two NewsHour correspondents, Ray Suarez and Paul Solman, will
be in Pittsburgh in advance of primary week and will appear at several
local events that are open to the public.

Suarez will speak at a luncheon on Wednesday, April 9 at the University
of Pittsburgh William Pitt Union Room 837 from noon to 2 pm.
The luncheon is sponsored by the University of Pittsburgh Intercultural
Dialogue Group (IDG). His presentation will focus on Religion in the
Election with questions and comments from the audience.

Thanks for reminding us about this Lina. On the 6 pm TV news with Jim Leherer (channel 13), I remember someone saying that the Newshour would be in Pittsburgh soon. Maybe they're interviewing this week for presentation next week!
