Volunteers for Food Drive

Pittsburgh Dialogue Foundation (PDF) cordially invites you to
participate in an "Interfaith Volunteer Group", who will help in the
food distribution for needy families organized by the Greater
Pittsburgh Community Food Bank.


The distribution requires around 40 volunteers and our goal is to
provide 20 of the volunteers. Recognizing the fact that to help
others who are less fortunate than us is a common duty bestowed upon
us by all faith traditions, we would take this opportunity to gather
an interfaith group of volunteers to work side by side in this
noble cause.

PDF will contribute to this distribution by providing volunteers
and by donating packaged meat for about 500 families. This donation
is made possible by our generous donors in observance of the
Eid ul-Adha, which is celebrated by Muslims in late December.

Distribution will take place at Braddock (VFD #2 Social Hall 845
Talbot Avenue Braddock, PA) on Saturday May 3, 2008.

If you would like to join us, please send an e-mail to
events@pghdialogue.org by Wednesday April 30th, and let us know the
number of volunteers participating with you. Since the number is
limited we will accept volunteers on first come first served basis.
