Love animals? Then come & help dog out!

Recently I visited Animal Rescue League of Western Pennsylvania in Pittsburgh. There are a lot of cats & dogs. They are very lovely, some of them look sad and lonely. I think they need human friends and need to feel love. The League offer seperate rooms for family to play with animals, esp. for kids. And, they are recruiting volunteers to help with dog out. I met a volunteer there, she told me, just finish a 2-hour online orientation, then you will get the volunteer qualification. After that, whenever you have time, you just go there and choose a dog to walk out.

For those who want to have a pet but can't (the rats are not mine, I want dogs!!), it is a good chance to be a volunteer in the animal shelter. There is another branch in East Liberty:

Orientation Dates in June
General Orientation Dates:
Thursday June 5th from 7:00pm-8:00pm

Dog Walker orientation (must have attended the general orientation):
Sunday June 8th from Noon-2pm
Friday June 13th from 6pm-8pm

Cat Orientation Dates (must have attended the general orientation):
Saturday June14th from 3pm-4:30pm
