Stephen Foster Festival

I'm sure that many of you will remember the talk that we had about the songwriter Stephen Foster a few months ago. In the paper I saw an advertisement for a Music and Heritage Festival on the 12th July that will be held at Allegheny Cemetery. It looks as though it might be an interesting day and would give you a chance to hear his music again.

Sorry I'll miss it. Sounds like it would be fun and the cemetary is a wonderful place to walk around (which I've been meaning to do for a while now!)

I have just come back from the festival with my parents. We had a lovely afternoon listening to Foster's music and going on a tour of the cemetery. Apparently it is an annual event and I would really recommend it to people for next year.
