indian grocery
I'm looking for a place to buy Indian spices, and it would be great if I could find some paneer too - I know that Market District has some jars of sauce, but I would love to find a store that specializes in Indian food. It would be an added bonus if it's on a bus route. Any suggestions?

I get most of my spices and stuff from the Co-op on Meade Street. However, Kohli's on Craig is not bad and I think they carry paneer too. They are across from Lulu's, where we had lunch last week. Penzey's in the Strip is a spice store and they have all spices from all around the world, but no paneer!
Hope this helps. See you Wednesday (?)

Re: indian grocery
Thanks! I saw an Indian resturant as I was leaving LuLu's, that's what made me think of it. The grocery is across the street, I think? And yes, I'll be there tomorrow, but somewhat later than 11, I have another commitment earlier in the morning.

Re: indian grocery
We always go to Kohli's. Their prices are pretty reasonable and they have a good selection. One our our regular purchases from there is a huge bag of rice - much cheaper than buying smaller bags.
There is also a good indian grocery store in Monroeville. It is at the end near Lowes and Old Navy and is in a shopping area opposite panera. This might be a bit far for you to go though.
