Watching & Talking

I love watchig movies, but it's too difficult for me to go to the cinema with my poor English

So I am thinking about if there are someone like me,

we could get togher after watching some movie(for example, this month's movie! - Before Sunrise(one of my favorite))

at home by DVD or something like that..(in my case.. I have to see over and over to listen and understand script )

and talk about our feeling and thoughts each other

and execise good expression or vocabulary was shown by movie.

I want to share my experience about learning a foreign language. I got interested in French 2 years ago. I watch a lot of French movies, but I don't understand much of what is going on without subtitles.
What I find very helpful is listening to French songs, there are plenty on Youtube. I usually print the lyrics of the song from the Internet and than I listen to the song over and over again. It is fun. I love French music.

Actually I like so much French movies as well, the day before yesterday I wanted to see Le Maitre de Musique but I couldn't.

Because there were not any subtitle, not English, and of course not Korean

I like both movies "Before sunrise" and "Before sunset". You got me interested with your reference to "The music teacher" aka " Le Maitre de Music" which I haven't heard of before. I looked it up and it is available on VHS in the Carnegie Library with English subtitles. I'll try to watch it.

le maitre de musique is a belgian movie...a very beautiful one with very nice decors,and music of course....i'm sure you'll both like it!!!!

Of course I like 'Before Sunset' as well. This movie is so special for me. After I watched 'Before Sunrise', I waited 9 years for this movie. In certain point of view, it seemed I spent time with movie characters(Jessy, Celine). So when I saw it, I was totally absorbed in it and I felt & understood this two characters' situation, feeling and emotion. And I heard director- Linklater, July Delpy and Ethan Hawk got together to write/edit this script. And what a beautiful song! ' A Waltz' composed by July Delpy in real.
I hope we can talk about this more someday~

Is 'The music teacher' a belgian movie? Thank you for your information. I didn't recognize. I have seen same director's movie '(Farinelli : il castrato). I think he has deep knowledge in music.
Actually I have seen 'The music teacher' 2 or 3 times in Korea in Korean subtitle. I tried to watch it again here because in daytime I am normally alone and I need to do something But the movie file I got now has no subtitle. And I will retry to get another one with Korean or English subtitle.
Could we get together after watching this movie? What I wanted is like this! Just watching movie(it's possible to see movie separately), Meet together, Talk about the movie!

And I am going to see 'Jane Austin Book Club' by DVD sooner or later. I think I need some idea for our book club forum.

There are similar Korean websites like at Naver, Daum, and Cyworld, which is my favs. I, once in a while, go to YouTube to refresh myself when feeling melancholy. Just click on the most viewed or discussed. Then, there are millions of tons of amazing things~~

I see more movie lovers are joining.

I'd love to be a member of a movie club, but like i've said in a previous post, I work during the day. Even though I like watching movies, I am not very good in talking about them, I rely mostly on professional critics to get an idea whether a movie is worth watching.

Still, any recommendations about movies or directors from you guys are very wellcome.

The title "Music teacher" reminded me of "the piano teacher" and "the piano", no comments here.

"Farinelli" was beautiful and definetely watchable.
