heinz history center
Hi
i'm in pittsburgh since nearly 3 years( in july) and i'm a little bit ashamed to say that i never visited the heinz history center in the strip...i just went there once for a special exhibition but not for the museum itself
would somebody be interested to go there with me????
the museum opens its doors at 10 am....we could go once after an iwap meeting -a thursday -for ex after the march 13th meeting....
i believe that we have global links on the 11th ...and something else on wedn.march 13th
so maybe another possibility would be the tuesday 18th( monday and friday don't work for me sorry) or wedn.march 19th
tell me what you think about it
here the link to the museum for infos
http://www.pghhistory.org/
hope to hear from a lot of you
catherine
ps we'll decide which day to choose after the reactions i'll receive...

Re: heinz history center
So let's do it and learn more about the great city where we all live ! I know that museum rather well because it is just around the corner of where I used to live when I arrived in Pittsburgh and in the heat of the summer it was a very confortable place to be... The shop is great, with a lot of < souvenirs > from the Steel city.

Re: heinz history center
Hi Catherine,
Mum and I will be coming on Tuesday. We are looking forward to it - I'll just have to remember to bring my shopping bags for afterwards. Do you know if we will be able to park in the museum lot when we go for lunch or will we have to move the cars?
