Proposed arts/crafts meeting date
Hi Everyone,
I suggest that we meet for some crafts on Thursday 20th March in the morning (there is no meeting that day).
We have two possible locations to meet, at Nelly's house in Murrysville or at mine in Squirrel Hill. Please let me know which one is best for you. I thought that 11-1 might be a good time and we could all bring a small dish to share.
Let me know what you think
Katherine

Re: Proposed arts/crafts meeting date
to be honest i would prefer yr home ( closer )..but if the majority agrees to go to Murrysville....no problem i'll go...
do you think that 11-1 is enough?? do you intend to eat after that or not?
and what do we plan to do???knitting or something else??
do we all do the same thing or is everybody coming with something else???
i have no preference but maybe it would be easier if everybody was working in the same direction....
thanks anyway for organizing everything katherine!!!
maybe we shoud all begin to knit something for yr baby.....tell us which color you would prefer....

Re: Proposed arts/crafts meeting date
Hi Katherine,
20th March....it's perfect!!!
If you ask about the location, (sorry Nelly ) I prefer yours because I have no car and it's really far by taking bus but if everybody decide to go, It's fine for me.
Katherine, I have a question: "Do you have a sewing machine?"
See you!
Frederique
PS (everywhere...) I will bake a dessert!!!

Re: Proposed arts/crafts meeting date
I think that the first meeting will be at my house as it seems to be easier for most people (this time at least). Perhaps we can rotate each month. I thought that we could work on individual projects for the first meeting. If you want to meet for longer we can, what times would you suggest?
Frederique - yes I do have a sewing machine that you could use - it might not be as good as yours but it has all the basic functions.

Re: Proposed arts/crafts meeting date
Hi Katherine,
I'll be at your place for craft Thursday 20th of march.
I don't know which craft I'll bring yet. I was thinking of maybe doing easter craft. But if you want to give an other theme its ok with me I'll change. I know that "baby" is a popular theme these days...
The time and place are perfect for me.

Hi Katherine,
Finally I don't have any excuse to start my kintting. All the materials are sit there for more than one month and I haven't finished making a yarn ball.

Re: Proposed arts/crafts meeting date
yay! I'm looking forward to bringing whichever of my projects packs up nice and small, and seeing all of your projects. I too will be taking the bus to get there, and will need an address or directions. Also, Kathe, how baby-friendly is your home? I'm not at all worried about messy floors or uncovered outlets, but Remy is very curious and likely to pick up any breakable objects he finds, and he is _very_ fond of scissors. see you all soon!

Dear Katherine, thank you for the invitation. I talked with you after the Irish presentation today. I will come~
Currently I have no idea about knitting or crafts, but I would like to discover and join you...
And, I will bring some Chinese style articles to share.

Re: Proposed arts/crafts meeting date
Hi girls
I can't go next week. However, I will love to go next time. I will love to learn how to knit. Well, some of you know that my craft's skills are awful, just remember my wonderful box but I'm sure that I will do something lovely in the end.
Have fun... See you in the cooking class.
Cheers, Frances
