The Great Allegheny Passage is a bike trail which goes from Pittsburgh to Washington DC! Its a wonderful trail along the Ohio River, you can camp along the trail, and kayak too.
Once in Washington DC you can come back with the train!

You can also do just a little part of the trail in Ohiopyle! Its great and in the nature!
