public indoor swimming pool

Hi ladies,

Me again...
Does anyone know where I can find a PUBLIC INDOOR swimming pool around and not too expensive? I know YMCA, Club 1 have it, but their membership are too expensive, you are forced to paid for using all the facilities, even if you are interested only in their pools...
Anyway, anyone has any ideas?

i'm going to the veteran hospital pool near washington blvd...they are working with the ymca of penn hills...
they are open 5 days/week
monday 9-1 pm
tuesday 11-1pm
wedn. 1-5 pm
thursday 11-1 pm
friday 9-1 pm
it is 15 $/month to be paid at the ymca of penn hills...you can pay them by mail too...

the public there is old( i'm the very young one at 49!!) but sooooo kind ..really it isn't only a sport thing( i swim between 80 and 100 laps 3 x/week)...it is a social thing too

The price is very reasonable, I will see how I can get there by bus.

i know there is a bus coming on the site because a lot of the members take it but really i have no idea abt the nr....

the address of the pool ....VA Healthcare Site, Highland Dr, Highland Park Area

and detail which is an important one..the water is pretty hot..92 !!! but you get used to it.....

The problem is ,,,,, the Oliver Bath House is open during the fall, winter and spring seasons for aquatic recreation. So, you can not swim during the summer there... Ummm.....

I think individual membership for the whole year is $100 and $150 for a family. Their pool is beautiful and often empty, but the hours may be somewhat limited.
