recipe
Easy but my note will be long...
Asparagus flan
ingredients : 16 asparagus stalks
6 eggs
1,5 cup of milk
1 cup heavy cream
chives ( or not, today, it was without....)
Serves 4 or 6
1- Cut off the tough ends of the asparagus stalks. Peel them, boil them in salted water for 5 mn.Drain and let cool. Chop each into 2 or 3-inch pieces.
2- Combine the eggs, milk, cream and half of the chives.Season with salt and pepper. Preheat the oven to 350 degres.Pour the eggs mixture in a pie plate. Sprinkle in the asparagus. Bake for 15 to 20 mn,till the mixture is set but not dried out.
Serve immediatetly decorated with the rest of the chives.
Et voila ! It can be a light dinner served with a green salad.

Reipe
Thank you for the recipe, Martine! That was delicious!
I found a website of the Tuesday Morning (http://www.tuesdaymorning.com/indexCatalogOff.asp) . It seems a nation wide retailer.
I will go one of their stores on Mc Knight Road next week if I have free time.
By the way, what is the name of the used furniture shop in Mt.Lebanon we talked about?
Thanks,
Kazu
